Ian Gibbon Obituary Death – Ian Gibbon, who was also my closest friend, passed away quietly in his sleep at the age of 63. He might have been my father too. We really apologize for having to break this dreadful news to you. The feeling of losing someone who is incredibly important to you in your life is something that you can never entirely prepare yourself for.
It is something that nothing can ever prepare you for. However, it has been quite poignant to hear all of the kind words that have been spoken about Big Gib, as well as to see how many people he has affected and how much good he has accomplished. This has been a really moving experience. He was always able to find something positive and hilarious to take away from even the most difficult of circumstances.
He was able to do this on a consistent basis. Many individuals were fortunate enough to have him as a friend, a guide, and a confidant. He was an incredible person. The fact that I am able to refer to him as my father is both a privilege and a blessing in equal measure. The Landican Crematorium will be the location of a memorial service that will take place on April 15 at one o’clock in the afternoon. Oxton Bar & Kitchen is going to be the location of a party that is going to take place.
For the goal of paying tribute to his life, we are crossing our fingers that those folks who were acquainted with him would be able to provide assistance to us.
